Hello World!
When the iPhone first launched back in 2007, it opened the door to a whole new world of possibilities, with countless apps to serve each and every user's individual tastes and needs. In addition to the standard calling and testing features, people use their iPhones for gaming, socialising, and photography.
Now, being able to take pictures with your phone isn't exactly a new thing - people have been snapping away with their early camera phones since 1997, while patents for such a device have existed as far back as 1956! However with the introduction of the iOS platform and 3rd-party apps and the ever-improving hardwares of iOS devices, not only could we take photos - we could edit, compose, and share them all on the same device.
This presents to us an entirely novel way of mobile media creation, and every day more and more people join in the art known as "iPhoneography". Statistics show that the three most popular digital cameras used on the Internet are all iPhones and rightly so - it is amazing to see what people from professional artists to everyday users can create using only a device that fits in the palm of your hand.
I am no professional photographer - so don't expect anything of that standard. This website was created not to show my own photography capabilities, but to instead demonstrate the power of the devices we carry in our pockets every day. Without further ado, it brings me great joy to share my small collection of mobile art with you. I hope you enjoy.
